[Henry] has lived in Town for over fifty years and has an understanding of the Town which is irreplaceable. Henry is committed to Concord. He goes the extra mile to research an issue, to look at all sides, and to make a fair decision. He is transparent and follows through when a project is discussed, and decisions are made. We need Henry’s expertise to help us navigate these issues that we will be facing.

As we start to emerge from our yearlong pandemic, opening up Town government and working together to address big projects in Town has never been more important. To do this we need strong leadership from people that know how to get things done and have proven themselves to be effective leaders. Henry Dane is such a person.
Personally, I have seen Henry’s commitment to his community as a fellow member of the Concord Business Partnership where Henry is always interested in hearing others’ opinions and ideas on Town matters. This is a trait that I know Henry will continue to practice on the Select Board. Henry believes strongly that good government requires openness, transparency and responsiveness. His promise that the Select Board fully embrace these qualities, together with his experience and knowledge will make Henry an excellent Select Board member. Please join me in voting for Henry for Select Board on Thursday March 25th.

I’ve known Henry for over 40 years on a personal, professional and community basis. He is a creative and talented Concord-based Attorney, who has been active in Concord’s civic, business and cultural arenas for as long as I have known him. He supports good government, quality education, and a prosperous community - all things I strongly care about
- Art Fulman, former member of Select Board.
We face challenges for town government, significant financial issues and choices and need to resolve the Estabrook Woods litigation among other things and we can use someone with Henry’s skills and experience. He would be a great addition to the Select Board and I urge you to vote for him on March 25
- Jeff Wieand, former member of the Select Board
I have found [Henry] to be an innovative and deliberative thinker, and a hard worker who does his homework and carefully weighs all aspects of an issue before making a decision. Concord is at a critical crossroads, facing many challenges in the months and years ahead. He brings to the table a wealth of legal and institutional knowledge, experience, leadership, a commitment to open government and common sense. I urge a YES vote for Henry Dane for Select Board.
- Anita Tekle, former Town Clerk and Assistant Town Manager
Henry has deep experience with and knowledge of our town and has been active in town affairs for many years. Henry’s wit, his experience as a practical problem-solver, his knowledge of Concord and his various constituencies would be a great value to our town and members of the the Select Board.
- Mark Martines, Concord business leader
He will be a strong advocate for friendly government. He will look out for the independent retailers and small business owners who create the vibrancy of our town centers. He will help us strike a balance between what we want and what we can afford. He will help us keep our priorities straight.
- John Boynton, Concord business leader and Johanna Boynton, former School Committee member
I have watched and admired [Henry’s] eloquent and thoughtful advocacy before Concord’s town boards and committees. He has a wealth of experience and history in this town that would serve us well in this time of rapid response to a range of issues with a relatively new town manager at the helm.
Of the short and long term issues facing this town we all love, very few admit to easy answers. Henry will bring to the table his legal skills honed over decades, his sense of humor (the importance of which is often overlooked), and his abiding commitment to Concord’s best interests.
